Job summary

SoFi Tech Solutions, a leading fintech software provider, is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Data Team. You will own the roadmap for data collection, modeling, governance, and serving, and build the team to deliver on these capabilities.

You will scale a data organization in a regulated fintech environment, shaping technical architecture and establishing team culture, with focus on data platforms, pipelines, and analytics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering, infrastructure, or related field.
• 5+ years directly managing engineers/analysts (6+ ideal).
• Experience owning a data platform end-to-end: pipelines, warehousing, orchestration (Airflow, dbt).
• Knowledge of cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and security/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own hiring, onboarding, and career development for Data Platform and Data Analytics teams.
• Set technical direction and standards for data pipelines, warehousing, analytics tools.
• Manage team roadmap, prioritization, and delivery against business goals.
