Job summary

Data in Detroit seeks a Director to lead the development of a secure, scalable cloud-based enterprise data lakehouse using medallion architecture and establish a unified data model for foundation-wide reporting and analytics. This leader will build governed data products, trusted metrics, and self-service analytics using Tableau, Power BI, or comparable platform.

The role will also lead the implementation of an enterprise MDM platform and create trusted 360-degree views across systems such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/DS or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Demonstrated leadership in data management, BI, and analytics initiatives
• Experience delivering enterprise data transformation strategies and cloud data lakehouses

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud-based data lakehouse development using medallion architecture.
• Build governed data products, trusted metrics, and self-service analytics via BI tools.
• Oversee enterprise MDM implementation delivering 360-degree data views.
• Mentor a high-performing cross-functional team and Steering Committee.
• Collaborate across systems like FLUXX, Salesforce, SAP, and ERP integrations
