Job summary

Sand Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Governance & Responsible AI Lead to establish and operationalize governance for the Baltimore Intelligence Center. Lead governance across data, analytics and AI products, with ownership, lineage, and auditability at the core.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading data governance or analytics governance.
• Experience operationalizing governance in complex, cross-functional programs.
• Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational data governance across data, analytics, and AI products.
• Establish datasets ownership, stewardship, and auditability.
• Define metadata, lineage, and catalog standards.
• Oversee KPI governance and semantic consistency.
• Govern AI-enabled use cases with risk and privacy reviews.
• Develop governance reporting, scorecards, and audit readiness.
• Create playbooks and enable sustainable capability transfer.
