Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Folsom, CA is seeking a Principal Product Line Manager to lead the direction of the data center SSD portfolio.

You will decide where to invest, use customer and market feedback to set priorities, and own the business plan for your product segment including long-term forecasts. You will drive cross-functional teams from concept through launch with engineering, sales, marketing, and partners, build go-to-market plans, and track progress against the business plan.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business; 7 years product management experience.
3 years in the data storage or SSD industry.
Understanding of SSD technology, data center infrastructure, and market trends.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and making data-driven product decisions.

Responsibilities

Set the roadmap. Research customer needs, market trends, and competitors. Use what you learn to define product priorities and guide decisions throughout development.
Bring products to market. Lead work from concept through launch with engineering, sales, marketing, and other teams. Build the go-to-market plan and track progress against the business plan.
Work directly with customers and partners. Learn what they need from data center storage and bring that feedback into product decisions. Improve how the team works, including where AI-driven workflows can save time.
