Job summary

Oracle is seeking a seasoned Head of Data Center Security Operations to lead the physical security program for multiple data centers from Shackelford, TX. This IC role requires regional travel and oversight of contracted security staff, with no direct reports.

You will manage security guard force, drive regulatory compliance (SSAE 18, ISO, PCI), lead incident response and crisis management, and align budgets with business needs while partnering with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 years of industrial security experience and 5 years of management within security/data center environments.
• Ability to work onsite in Shackelford, TX within 1 hour commute.
• Strong knowledge of physical security regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with crisis management at corporate level.
• Knowledge of security technologies including access control and CCTV.
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Security guard force management across internal and external data centers.
• Partner with business units and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance (SSAE 18, ISO, PCI).
• Lead incident response and crisis management efforts.
• Forecast budgets, manage expenditures, and handle vendor invoicing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service alignment with requirements.
• Oversee third-party security provider activities and staff development.
