Job summary

MOREgroup, based in Austin, TX, seeks a data professional to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions across the organization. The role emphasizes cloud platforms, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and partnerships with stakeholders to shape data-driven decisions; experience with offshore teams is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/DS/IT with 3+ years of data engineering/warehousing experience.
• Hands-on with modern data platforms (Snowflake/Databricks/Redshift/Azure Synapse).
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Boomi, Talend, AWS Glue, Microsoft Fabric, SSIS).
• Proficiency in Python, R, Scala, or SAS for data analytics.
• Strong SQL skills with large relational datasets (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience leading offshore data teams across time zones.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for reporting and analytics.
• Build and optimize data warehouses and analytical models for insights.
• Integrate data from APIs, files, and databases using modern ETL/ELT tools.
• Collaborate with business and tech teams to translate data needs into solutions.
• Evaluate BI/analytics solutions aligned with strategy and roadmaps.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and performance across platforms.
• Develop data solutions supporting data science and advanced analytics.
• Lead offshore teams to support data initiatives across time zones.
• Define and implement an operational data strategy for diverse user groups.
• Identify opportunities to improve data processes and reduce shadow IT.
