Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Director to lead NAOU Data Architecture & Engineering, shaping architecture strategy for data, analytics, data science and AI across North America. You will guide enterprise-scale initiatives and partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into capability.

You will mentor teams of data engineers and ML engineers, define RAG and MLOps patterns, drive CI/CD, security and governance, and ensure scalable, observable solutions that enable faster decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, data science or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• 12+ years in data architecture, data engineering, analytics platforms or AI architecture, including enterprise-scale transformations.
• 5+ years leading architects, engineers or platform teams with talent development and delivery responsibility.
• Experience designing cloud-native architectures spanning lakehouse/warehouse, data products and APIs.
• Knowledge of Azure technologies such as Azure Databricks, Power BI; understanding of ML lifecycle and MLOps.
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and communicate complex topics in business terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead architects, data engineers, platform engineers and ML/AI engineers responsible for building enterprise data and AI capabilities.
• Establish engineering standards for CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, orchestration, observability, data quality and governance.
• Drive reusable frameworks and platform capabilities across multiple business functions.
• Define end-to-end ML/AI architecture patterns including experimentation, deployment, monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Establish MLOps practices for model versioning, retraining, deployment and production support.
• Partner with data scientists and engineers to transition prototypes into production-grade solutions.
• Mentor technical talent and align NAOU solutions with enterprise direction.
• Communicate architecture choices and value to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
