The New York City Police Department is seeking data analytics professionals to enhance decision support and drive data-driven policy across the organization. You will conduct quantitative analyses, develop automated reporting, and work with stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.

The role involves partnering across divisions to mature data capabilities, supervise analytics work, and manage several concurrent data initiatives under tight deadlines.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field with four years of full-time experience or an associate degree with six years of experience or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree plus eight years of related experience also acceptable, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Strong Python/SQL and data visualization skills are required or highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Decision Support: Conduct advanced quantitative analysis and build automated reports for operational and executive inquiries.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to scope analytical needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Modernization & Standards: Partner cross-functionally to mature the department's data capabilities with internal and external partners.
• Project Management: Independently manage multiple data initiatives within strict timelines.
