Job summary

Cherry is seeking a Senior Manager of Data & Analytics Engineering to own how data moves through Cherry and how the entire company leverages it — end to end, from ingestion and warehouse architecture, through governance and access control, to the analytics engineering layer that powers self‑serve analytics and decision‑making across the business.

You’ll build and lead a team spanning both Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering, starting with 2‑3 engineers and rapidly scaling to 6‑8 within a

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data/analytics engineering with people management.
• Experience scaling engineering talent quickly while maintaining high technical bar.
• Proven end-to-end data platform architecture ownership from ingestion to consumption.
• Experience as product owner for technical data tools balancing feature requests and reliability.
• Regulated industry experience (Fintech/Healthcare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Analytics and Data Engineering teams, setting technical standards.
• Scale the team to 6–8 engineers within a year and define career ladders.
• Own data ingestion, warehouse modeling, and analytics layer architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide self-serve analytics tooling and governance.
