Job summary

Fortive is seeking a Manager, Data and Analytics in Everett, WA, to lead a team delivering trusted data products, reporting, and AI models that inform business decisions. You will manage datasets, pipelines, and the analytics backlog while partnering with stakeholders, platform, and engineering teams to translate questions into analytics work.

The role requires 5+ years of analytics/AI leadership, strong SQL, Python or R, and experience bringing models into production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or AI modeling with team leadership.
• Strong SQL plus Python or R, with modern data warehouse and pipeline tooling experience.
• Experience taking AI models into production and monitoring them for impact.
• Experience building decision-ready reporting for business audiences.
• Familiarity with data governance and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers with coaching and performance management.
• Deliver AI models and analytics outputs to forecast, detect anomalies, and support decisions.
• Own analytics and AI modeling roadmap for assigned business areas.
• Translate business questions into analytical problems with clear hypotheses and data needs.
• Manage intake, prioritization, and sizing of analytics requests.
• Ensure data quality, documentation, and consistent metrics across reports and models.
