Job summary

McCarthy Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Director of Engineering, Data & AI to build and operate enterprise-scale technology capabilities across applications, data, AI, and platform services. You will define strategy, establish ownership, and lead a cohesive engineering system aligning with architecture and security standards.

The role requires strong executive communication, 12+ years in leadership across software and data, and a track record of scaling complex technology organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• 12+ years of senior leadership across software/data/AI platforms.
• 5+ years leading via managers or senior tech leaders.
• Experience scaling enterprise tech organizations.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Engineering, Data & AI capability strategy across McCarthy.
• Establish clear ownership across applications, data, AI, and platform operations.
• Design operating model for shared platforms and production ownership.
• Guide governance, reliability, and security in engineering delivery.
• Partner with Digital Products, Enterprise Architecture, and Cybersecurity to shape solutions.
