Job summary

WSLS 10 is seeking a dynamic Multi-Platform Executive Producer to shape and shepherd high-impact content across all screens. You will oversee day-to-day content strategy, production workflows, and cross-platform execution to maximize reach and audience engagement.

The ideal candidate combines leadership with editorial excellence, managing a team of producers and digital producers, and driving innovative streaming coverage for a 24-hour channel strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in newsroom leadership or multi-platform content production.
• Experience as Managing Editor or Executive Producer preferred.
• Proven expertise across linear, digital, streaming, and social platforms.
• Strong leadership with ability to coach and develop teams under deadline pressure.
• Excellent editorial skills—writing and copy-editing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, programming, and execution across TV, digital, streaming, and social platforms.
• Lead cross-platform coverage and ensure alignment with audience needs.
• Mentor producers and digital producers; manage daypart team.
• Write and edit on-air content; publish as needed.
• Develop workflows for seamless content flow and cross-platform storytelling.
• Collaborate with News Director and Content Manager on 24-hour stream direction.
• Stay ahead of tech trends to improve user experience.
• Host live updates on stream when needed.
