Job summary

El Camino College seeks a senior administrator to lead the Counseling and Student Success Division under the Vice President of Equity and Student Services in Torrance, CA. The role directs faculty and staff, shapes strategic plans, and aligns programs with the college's equity and student success goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; preferred in counseling, psychology, educational or career counseling, or the equivalent.
• Three years administrative experience in student counseling, educational or career planning programs, plus at least one year in program administration and coordination.
• Direct experience in grant-funded project/program management at the federal and/or state level in a similar community college setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct the Counseling and Student Success Division operations; manage budgets, reports, and timelines.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of programs and services to support student completion and success.
• Advance equity, onboarding, enrollment, retention, and completion through collaborative programs with campus leadership.
