Job summary

Nirvana Tech Inc. is seeking a senior Corporate Development professional to build and lead our M&A and strategic partnerships function.

You’ll evaluate, negotiate, and close transactions across insurance MGA and claims TPA businesses, shaping Nirvana's growth trajectory with data-driven strategies. You will work closely with Strategic Finance, Claims leadership, and the data partnerships team, sourcing proprietary deal flow and launching data-oriented collaborations to strengthen underwriting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate development.
• Insurance or InsureTech experience preferred; FinTech background acceptable.
• Demonstrated end-to-end deal experience including diligence, negotiation and closing.
• Independent contributor with minimal oversight.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Experience managing intermediary relationships (investment bankers, advisors).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough critical thinker who makes decisions confidently.
• Self-starter who proactively seeks learning opportunities.
• Bias-to-action and hands-on approach.
• Owner mentality with accountability for actions and results.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle M&A transactions from investment thesis development through sourcing, diligence, negotiation, deal structuring, legal documentation, and closing for insurance and claims acquisitions.
• Build and manage direct and intermediary relationships to source proprietary deal flow in the MGA and claims sectors.
• Identify, structure, and launch strategic partnerships around data acquisition to strengthen underwriting and risk models.
• Scope, negotiate, and launch large commercial deals involving data assets and other strategic resources.
