Job summary

CarterPierce, INC. is seeking a Head of Corporate Development to lead end-to-end deal execution for platform acquisitions and tuck-ins. The role reports to the CFO and requires strong relationship management with sellers, strategic M&A experience, and leadership of a developing deal team.

You'll drive cross-functional collaboration to integrate acquired businesses, build scalable processes, and help the firm execute its growth strategy through active acquisitions.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience: 1–2 years in investment banking plus 3+ years buy-side/corporate development.
• Background in private equity or corporate M&A/corporate development.
• Strong EQ for managing seller relationships directly.
• Technology or A&D/Government experience preferred.
• Experience running deal processes end-to-end is required.

CarterPierce is partnered with a private equity-backed business services platform to identify a Head of Corporate Development to lead deal execution as the company scales through an active acquisition strategy. This role owns deal execution end‑to‑end once a target is in the pipeline — from initial calls with sellers through full diligence and close — across both platform acquisitions and tuck‑in deals. Reports directly to the company's CFO.
