Role Title: Head of Content & Social Media

Department: Content Team

Reports to: CEO

Pay: $400/month + optional 1–2% equity (vesting available)

Hours: ~10–15 hours/week

Location: Remote

Mission:

Take full ownership of SportsYardTV’s content output and social presence. From live shows to viral clips, your job is to keep the content flowing, engaging, and growing across all major platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Edit video clips from weekly shows (Gambler’s Paradise, Mafia, Bye Week Report)
• Create YouTube Shorts, IG Reels, and X clips using CapCut, Descript, or Canva
• Schedule content via Buffer across YouTube, IG, X (Twitter), and TikTok
• Design thumbnails and write engaging, optimized captions
• Stay up on social media trends and sports conversations
• Track content performance (views, engagement, followers, etc.)
• Present weekly insights and suggestions for improvement
• Ensure all content maintains brand tone and style

Ideal Candidate:

• Comfortable editing short-form content and using tools like CapCut or Canva
• Knows the content style that wins on YouTube, X, IG, and TikTok
• Has experience managing content for a creator, podcast, or media brand
• Organized and can stick to a weekly publishing schedule
• Passionate about sports media, betting, or creator-led storytelling

Growth Path:

Can grow into Content Director overseeing multiple editors, branded campaigns, and seasonal activations for the SportsYard ecosystem.
