Job summary

Compound Planning, Inc. seeks a senior-level Content Lead to own and scale our content engine, overseeing The Manual, Compound Interests, and conversations with editorial freedom. You will manage agencies, craft high-quality copy, and shape a data-informed content strategy that drives growth and awareness.

You’ll collaborate with the Head of Marketing, own publishing workflows, and spearhead derivatives from events to expand across formats. A strong background in wealth/fintech content is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong personal writing ability to produce polished emails, landing pages, decks, and social copy.
• Experience managing agencies (copy, PR, ads) and driving them without heavy hand-holding.
• Background in wealth management or personal finance content; fintech familiarity a plus.
• Proven track record of owning content end-to-end — strategy to distribution — with minimal oversight.
• Comfortable as the sole senior content voice with final editorial authority.
• Excellent project management for multi-format content calendars and agency coordination.
• AI-native approach to content creation and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Take full editorial and operational ownership of The Manual, Compound Interests, Compound Conversations, PR, brand/exec social, and product marketing.
• Set and drive content strategy — topics, themes, timing — with Head of Marketing oversight.
• Manage compliance submission/approval workflow and publishing to CMS and newsletter platform.
• Identify advisor subject-matter experts and turn their expertise into published content across formats.
• Personally write emails, landing pages, decks, and social copy where quality and speed matter.
• Build and defend a point of view on Compound's ICP and advisor thinking.
• Own topic/panelist selection, agenda-setting, and advisor coordination for the monthly Compound Conversations series.
• Write landing page copy, ensure skeleton decks; polish materials for delivery.
• Write and distribute email/social promotion to drive attendance.
• Build derivative-content pipeline from transcripts/recordings; grow to new audiences/formats.
• Scale output and quality without headcount growth; connect content to pipeline with RevOps.
