Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Manager, Content & Knowledge Architecture to shape the emerging discipline of content engineering within CKM. You will design and govern how knowledge is created, stored, and surfaced across surfaces and applications, aligning with product launches and business needs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in content strategy, operations, or knowledge management.
• 5+ years of managing managers and leading distributed teams.
• Hands-on experience with content systems, taxonomy, and information architecture at scale.
• Experience partnering with product and engineering to deliver content solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the evolving discipline of content engineering within CKM.
• Own the metadata, taxonomy, and information architecture roadmap.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize tooling investments.
• Establish governance frameworks for content creation, review and publishing.
• Define metrics and reporting on content health, coverage, and performance.
• Coordinate CKM content with product launches and business needs.
• Lead and develop managers and senior team members; set goals and accountability.
• Make talent decisions: hiring, calibration, promotion, succession planning.
• Define ownership across taxonomy, tooling, AI optimization, and content operations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources across programs and roadmaps.
• Coach leaders in team design and career development; promote inclusion.
