Job summary

StubHub, Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager for the Consumer Product (Event) to lead the CX events team, turning customer insight into measurable business results across web and mobile platforms.

You will own the quality and execution of high-visibility consumer experiences, partnering with Product, Design, and Data to drive growth, conversion, and engagement while scaling a high-performing engineering organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production systems.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership, including hiring and performance management.
• Experience leading consumer-facing web or mobile engineering with measurable business outcomes.
• Strong technical judgment and experience in code reviews and system design.
• Experience applying experimentation and data to guide product and engineering investments.
• Experience applying AI to customer products or workflows with guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Drive measurable commercial impact by identifying high-leverage problems and defining success metrics.
• Lead through experimentation with Product, Design, and Data; run focused experiments and act on results.
• Turn ambiguous problems into clear plans and deliver with urgency and quality.
• Hire and coach engineers, set expectations, and develop senior technical leaders.
• Remain engaged in system-design and guide tradeoffs across scalability, reliability, and security.
• Identify practical opportunities to apply AI to customer experiences and engineering workflows.
