Job summary

MountainPlex Properties seeks a full-time Director of Construction & Property Management to oversee all construction projects and property management activities. The role reports to the COO and drives budgets, timelines, and quality across the portfolio.

You will coordinate with managers, architects, engineers, and contractors, while building strong tenant and partner relationships. Leadership and compliance are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years related experience required.
• Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong budgeting and financial reporting abilities.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• WV General Contractor license and OSHA certification expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines and control costs.
• Prepare budgets, progress reports, and cost tracking.
• Ensure compliance with building, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Direct activities for construction and maintenance of facilities.
• Negotiate contracts with architects, clients, suppliers, and contractors.
• Lead and mentor maintenance and construction staff to foster teamwork.
• Build relationships with tenants, vendors, and community partners.
