Job summary

Dexterity, Inc. is seeking a Head of CV and ML to lead a talented team of machine learning and computer vision engineers focused on robotics perception and data analysis.

You will shape the architectural direction, supervise model development, training pipelines, and deployment at scale in a production robotics platform. You will mentor engineers, work across product and hardware teams, and stay current with semantic and instance segmentation research to keep our systems at the forefront of

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team of Computer Vision or Machine Learning engineers.
• At least 5 years of experience in building ML datasets, data pipelines and serving architecture.
• Creating a culture of developing high quality models, tests and regressions.
• Strong knowledge of Modern C++ and Python.
• Experience building, maintaining and improving production code.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, GCP, Azure) for training/serving pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead CV and ML team to develop models, training pipelines, and deployment within a robotics platform.
• Oversee architecture decisions and identify opportunities to improve systems.
• Stay current with semantic/instance segmentation research and implement advances in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Mentor developers and ensure end-to-end data gathering, model evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
