Tilde Bio, Inc. (FL110) located in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a visionary, hands-on computational leader to build and lead its computational sciences.

You will own algorithms, models, and data infrastructure spanning raw signal processing to protein identification and quantification. Embedded with scientists and engineers, you will recruit a team, define a long-term computational roadmap, and guide data generation strategies while ensuring reproducible, scalable science in a fast-evolving

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field with strong computational focus.
• 10+ years in computational biology or related area, with 4+ years leading a team.
• Proven track record building and developing computational groups.
• Hands-on ML and programming skills with modern data science tooling.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and scalable data infra.
• Clear communicator able to translate complex work to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and guiding teams through undefined problems.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and roadmap for computational sciences aligned with platform goals.
• Build and mentor the computational sciences team and foster excellence.
• Lead algorithms, models, and data infrastructure for nanopore protein reading.
• Design ML pipelines for protein identification and quantification across datasets.
• Establish data governance, versioning, and cloud infrastructure practices.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and external partners; protect IP.
