Job summary

You will oversee data management, curation, and governance to ensure FAIR and GA4GH-aligned sharing, champion data quality, and mentor staff while helping develop grant proposals and funding strategies. This role also involves external engagement with researchers and funders to advance Sage's mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team focused on applied scientific research, biomedical data stewardship, and community engagement around Sage's data assets.
• Oversee data management, curation, and governance to ensure FAIR and GA4GH-aligned sharing, and champion data quality and harmonization for cross-study reuse.
• Represent Sage externally with data generators, researchers, and funders, while mentoring team members and contributing to grant proposals and funding strategies.
