Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Compliance Architect to lead enterprise architecture across Financial Crimes, Regulatory Compliance, and related portfolios. You will shape target-state architecture, govern technology strategy, and drive platform modernization across SaaS, cloud, and on-premise environments.

As a trusted advisor, you will partner with Product, Risk, Audit, and Engineering to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant technology outcomes in a global financial services setting.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years in enterprise architecture or technology leadership in financial services.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory technology, AML, KYC, and regulatory platforms.
• Experience delivering SaaS, cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture authority for compliance and financial crime portfolios.
• Define target-state architecture and governance across SaaS, cloud, and on-premise ecosystems.
• Develop modernization roadmaps including cloud adoption and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Audit, and Engineering to ensure compliant outcomes.
