Job summary
Northern Trust is seeking an experienced Compliance Architect to lead the enterprise architecture for Financial Crimes, Regulatory Compliance, and Regulatory Change portfolios. You will guide target-state designs, policy standards, and platform modernization efforts across SaaS, cloud-native, and on-premises environments.
You will collaborate with Product, Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Security teams to ensure scalable, resilient and compliant technology solutions that meet evolving regulatory
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 15+ years of enterprise architecture, software engineering, data architecture, or technology leadership.
- Experience in financial services, banking, regulatory, risk, compliance, audit, or financial crimes tech.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture authority for Financial Crimes, Regulatory Compliance, and Regulatory Change portfolios.
- Define target-state architecture aligning with regulatory obligations and business strategy.
- Develop roadmaps for modernization, cloud adoption, and technical debt reduction.
- Govern enterprise data architecture, data governance, quality, and analytics.
- Lead evaluation and selection of platforms, vendor solutions, and architecture governance.
