Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

About the Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Community to lead and manage our community engagement efforts within the crypto and blockchain space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and nurturing communities in the crypto ecosystem, with deep knowledge of Web3, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance (DeFi). This role will be pivotal in shaping our brand’s community strategy, increasing engagement, and fostering a loyal and active community base. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to learn all aspects of our operations and the interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across diverse teams. Success in this role requires adaptability, a proactive mindset, and a strong sense of accountability. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, drives action, and delivers results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy that aligns with our brand’s mission and objectives.
  • Cultivate relationships with key community members, influencers, and partners within the crypto and blockchain space.
  • Manage and grow community channels, including Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Reddit, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create and execute campaigns to increase community engagement, including AMAs, webinars, meetups, and online events.
  • Monitor community sentiment and provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
  • Develop educational content and resources to foster community understanding of our projects and initiatives.
  • Respond to community inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to align community initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Track and analyze community metrics to measure the effectiveness of engagement strategies and report on key performance indicators.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in community management, with at least 2+ years in the crypto/blockchain industry.
  • Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and Web3.
  • Proven experience managing and growing online communities across multiple platforms.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to analyze and report on community metrics and provide actionable insights.
