Qualifications

• 7+ years in communications or public relations, including internal and external roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Experience directing PR agencies and vendors with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Set and own the overall public relations strategy with priorities and annual plans.
• Build relationships with healthcare and national/regional media; act as spokesperson.
• Oversee PR firm and external advisors; manage budget and deliverables.
• Position leadership in thought leadership through conferences, bylines, and awards.
• Lead issues and crisis communications with cross-functional partners and HIPAA protocols.
• Own internal communications across a distributed multi-state workforce.
• Align communications with milestones, growth, and strategic priorities.
