ACV Auctions, a technology-driven marketplace for used vehicles, seeks a Commercial Analytics Director to lead the analytics and BI strategy across dealer, fleet, and other segments. You will translate data into executive-ready insights, partner with Sales and Solutions, and drive automation and KPI dashboards.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in analytics, strong SQL, and experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, with a track record of influencing strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline is required.
• 10+ years in commercial analytics, BI, or revenue/strategy analytics.
• 5+ years leading analytics teams.
• Strong foundation in applied statistics and quantitative methods.
• Advanced SQL in relational or cloud databases; KPI dashboards in BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the analytics and BI strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Establish best practices for analytics, reporting, data viz, and governance.
• Partner with executives to define KPIs and dashboards for strategic decisions.
• Drive automation to reduce manual effort and speed insights.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
