Job summary

ACV Auctions seeks a Commercial Analytics Director to lead our analytics and BI roadmap, turning data into strategic insights for revenue growth and customer value. You will partner with Sales, Commercial Solutions, and Operations to deliver executive-ready analyses and scalable reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline; 10+ years in commercial analytics, BI, or revenue analytics.
5+ years leading and developing analytics teams.
Strong foundation in applied statistics and quantitative methods (regression, forecasting, segmentation, experimentation).
Advanced SQL; ability to design and build KPI dashboards in BI platforms (Power BI/Tableau/Looker).
Experience with large language model tooling (e.g., Claude) to develop analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Define and own the analytics and BI strategy aligned with growth objectives.
Own recurring performance reporting for multiple account types and segments.
Develop KPI dashboards for operations, pricing, margins, and customer segments.
Apply statistical methods and modeling for retention, demand forecasting, pricing optimization.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Digital Product.
