ChristianaCare seeks a Director of Coding and Billing Compliance to lead the enterprise-wide program ensuring revenue cycle integrity and regulatory alignment across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.

The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer, oversees auditing, monitoring, investigations, and risk assessments, and partners with Revenue Cycle, Finance, HIMS, and clinical leadership to strengthen internal controls and education across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of healthcare experience in revenue cycle, reimbursement, coding and billing compliance, or related operations.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Experience developing or overseeing auditing, monitoring, investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Experience in large hospitals or health systems; Epic EHR experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide Coding and Billing Compliance Program.
• Conduct risk assessments and plan annual audits and monitoring.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide guidance on risks.
• Design audits for Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers and org requirements.
• Lead investigations involving billing, coding, reimbursement, or related concerns.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Develop dashboards and reporting for program effectiveness.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance, HIMS, CDI, and operations.
• Oversee compliance education and training initiatives.
• Prepare reports for executive leadership and governance bodies.
• Manage and develop Compliance staff.
