Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a strategic Head of Infrastructure in Manhattan, NY, onsite. You will own the multi-year cloud, DevOps, and SRE roadmap, leading distributed teams to deliver scalable, compliant infrastructure.

You will drive incident management, reliability, and cost optimization at scale. You will partner with security and legal to ensure SOC 2 and ISO controls, while shaping disaster recovery and business continuity programs.

Qualifications

10+ years in infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps or SRE roles.
3+ years in a senior leadership position managing engineering teams.
Deep expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.).
Proven experience building/operating CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and incident management at scale.
Experience implementing security/compliance programs (SOC 2, ISO) and communicating infrastructure risk to executives.

Responsibilities

Own the multi-year infrastructure roadmap across cloud operations, DevOps, and SRE.
Lead, mentor, and grow distributed engineering teams for cloud platforms, reliability, and automation.
Design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure (public, private, hybrid) using IaC, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Define and enforce SLA/SLO/SLI frameworks; own incident response and post-incident reviews.
Drive security/compliance programs and coordinate with security teams for regulatory controls.
Manage cloud cost optimization, vendor relationships, and capacity planning.
Lead disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity programs with board-level reporting.
