Job summary

Infosoft Inc. seeks a Director of Informatics to provide strategic leadership for clinical informatics, EHR governance, data analytics, and healthcare technology across our regional Hawaii network.

You will supervise informatics professionals, drive clinical workflow optimization, and collaborate with clinical, IT, finance, and executive leadership to improve patient outcomes and regulatory compliance. Travel to facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Information Systems, Nursing Informatics, Biomedical Informatics, or related field.
• 5–7 years of healthcare informatics or related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHR governance and priority setting for clinical informatics initiatives.
• Lead optimization of EHR, CDS, and standardized clinical workflows.
• Collaborate with clinical, IT, finance, and executive leadership on technology requirements and system improvements.
• Direct clinical technology implementation, testing, training, adoption, and optimization.
• Lead workflow assessments, gap analyses, and process improvement initiatives.
• Oversee clinical data analytics, reporting, data integration, and data governance.
• Ensure data integrity, security, interoperability, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with quality improvement teams to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes.
• Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams, including performance evaluations and staff training.
• Oversee technology projects and change management across hospitals and clinics.
• Travel to regional facilities and attend off-island training when required.
