Job summary

Domnovate is seeking a Director of Informatics in Waimea, Hawaii to lead clinical information systems, data governance and technology-enabled improvements in patient care. This on-site, direct-hire role oversees EMR specialists, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and travels regionally as needed.

The position requires a Master’s in informatics or related field, at least seven years in healthcare informatics with leadership experience, and applicable Hawaii licensure.

Qualifications

• Seven years of healthcare informatics or related experience.
• Three years of managerial supervisory experience.
• Current Hawaii RN license or Hawaii license to practice medicine as an MD or DO.

Responsibilities

• Guide informatics strategy and design, implementation, optimization and support of clinical systems.
• Lead clinical workflow and data analysis, reporting, change management and quality improvement initiatives.
• Partner with clinical, administrative, information systems and analytics teams to improve safety and care outcomes.
• Oversee data governance, integrity, privacy, security and interoperability.
• Supervise clinical informatics and EMR specialists, including training and performance evaluation.
