Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. seeks a Senior Director, Head of Clinical Development Learning & Center of Excellence to set vision and strategy for global clinical capability development, learning, and data analytics across therapeutic areas.

The role reports to senior clinical leaders and leads a multidisciplinary team, driving modernization of medical monitoring practices and integration with enterprise learning functions. Hybrid work arrangement available.

Responsibilities

• Direct the CoE vision, strategy, and multi-disciplinary team across learning, development, and data innovation pillars.
• Oversee Clinical Data Intelligence and Medical Monitoring Innovation group and translate digital tools into learning curricula.
• Coordinate with enterprise learning functions and standard bodies to align clinical trial standards with training initiatives.

Doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) + 8 years experience

Master's degree in Life Sciences or related field + 12 years experience
