Job summary

Vanguard seeks a senior product leader to own cash management, money movement, and payments strategy across Wealth and Advice. The role focuses on reducing friction, improving visibility, and strengthening controls in a high-volume environment.

You will partner across technology, risk, and operations to modernize payment capabilities, ensure ISO 20022 readiness, and drive adoption with clients and advisors. Hybrid work in Malvern.

Qualifications

• Deep experience building cash management, payments, or money movement digital products.
• Experience optimizing consumer banking journeys focused on payments and liquidity.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payment rails including ACH, wires, debit, and check processing.
• Understanding of risk, AML/KYC, and regulatory compliance in money movement.
• Ability to partner with operations, tech, risk, and servicing teams.
• Proven track record delivering roadmap for high-volume payment platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own cash and money movement strategy and roadmap across Wealth and Advice.
• Design experiences reducing funding friction and improving cash visibility.
• Define requirements across ACH, wires, checks, debit and card transactions.
• Modernize high-volume money movement capabilities and lifecycle management.
• Strengthen API integrations, payment orchestration, and ISO 20022 readiness.
• Drive execution from discovery through launch, adoption, and enhancement.
• Embed fraud prevention, AML/KYC, OFAC, and controls into roadmaps.
• Translate complex banking requirements into clear strategy and plans.
• Use market trends and analytics to prioritize build, buy, or partner options.
• Build and lead talent with deep payments expertise.
• Coordinate with Cash Management strategy AWS team and PW Tech.
• Measure success through client and advisor experience and engagement.
