Watson Electrical Construction Co in Wilson, NC is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead strategic sales initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and support the training and development of the sales team to ensure growth.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to driving revenue and building long-lasting client relationships across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform business decisions.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Develop and execute sales plans and training programs tailored to individual and team performance needs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales and organizational goals.
Monitor and report on sales metrics and performance against set targets.
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, promoting products and services.
