Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise city's building inspection activities
• Develop policies for efficient operation of building inspections
• Select, train, and supervise personnel and set performance standards
• Promote public relations and inform staff and citizens of services
• Recommend revisions of building electrical, mechanical, and plumbing codes
• Prepare and administer operating budget
• Perform related duties as directed
