Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an experienced Lab Operations Executive in Richmond, VA to oversee all laboratory operations, ensure productivity, and guide strategic policy deployment.

You will manage staff, budgets, and contracts, aligning resources with client needs while maintaining compliance and quality standards. This onsite role supports the lab’s mission to deliver accurate results in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal qualification.
• 12+ years' experience with 5+ years in management.
• Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge (GLP, ICH M10).
• Experience in laboratory operations and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of management of laboratory operations and ensures productivity, efficiency and quality of work.
• Negotiates and executes project contracts, defines scope, pricing and client interactions.
• Manages staff and resources, prioritizes tasks and budgets.
• Ensures compliance with SOPs and client requirements.
• Provides technical leadership and mentors staff.
• Develops and maintains client relationships.
