Job summary

The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA) seeks a Director, Entrepreneurs Network to build a global community of UW‑Madison alumni founders, entrepreneurs, investors, and startup leaders. This hybrid role collaborates with WFAA, the Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Hub, and campus partners to create scalable programs and meaningful engagement in Madison and across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in business development, entrepreneurship, alumni relations, community engagement, or related fields.
• Experience building and sustaining professional or entrepreneurial communities or networks.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to support relationship management, segmentation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, launch, and growth of the Badger Founders Network.
• Design a scalable operating model for growth across markets and engagement stages.
• Develop and oversee a volunteer leadership structure for network expansion.
• Create data-informed engagement strategies connecting founders with UW and university initiatives.
• Collaborate with campus partners and external stakeholders to plan nationwide activities.
• Monitor performance indicators and use results to drive improvement.
• Represent WFAA at events and build partnerships to advance entrepreneurship initiatives.
