Job summary

Danaher is seeking a Senior Director - Autonomous Labs Architect to define the architectural blueprint for scaling autonomous laboratories across the company. This fully remote role reports to the VP of Autonomous and Intelligent Labs and shapes enterprise standards and reusable patterns.

You will partner with operating companies, researchers, and technology partners to drive scalable architecture, interoperability, and strategic alignment across diverse lab ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in systems architecture or related fields.
• Experience scaling enterprise architecture across products and platforms.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into scalable execution in enterprise environments.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the enterprise architecture, standards, and reusable patterns for autonomous and AI-enabled laboratory systems across Danaher.
• Establish interoperability across instruments, informatics platforms, laboratory automation systems, robotics, data layers, AI agents, software platforms, and external partner technologies.
• Translate enterprise strategy into scalable execution by partnering with operating companies, enterprise teams, customers, strategic partners, industry consortia, and external ecosystem participants.
• Guide system, software, workflow, and data architecture decisions to ensure outputs become reusable enterprise capabilities.
• Influence product strategy and act as Danaher’s internal/external thought leader for autonomous labs and related technology strategies.
