Job summary

Navigant Credit Union seeks a Senior Manager, Automation & AI to lead the intelligent automation practice in Rhode Island. You will oversee RPA, Power Platform, and applied AI initiatives, guiding a small team and setting delivery standards across UiPath, Power Automate, and Copilot.

You will partner with technology leadership to mature automation from project-based to scalable operations, ensuring governance, ROI tracking, and continuous improvement across financial services workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in intelligent automation, RPA, or process improvement with hands-on bot development.
• Strong UiPath experience (Studio, Orchestrator, Document Understanding) and UiPath cert preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and AI-enabled tools such as Copilot required.
• 2+ years leading or managing a technical team; hiring and performance oversight.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end delivery from intake to deployment and support.
• Vendor management experience with statements of work and knowledge transfer.
• Strong analytical skills using pipeline metrics to drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops automation team; aligns goals and fosters accountability.
• Owns end-to-end automation delivery pipeline and strategy.
• Sets delivery standards, coding practices, and documentation requirements.
• Determines tool selection across UiPath, Power Automate, and AI agents.
• Analyzes pipeline metrics to boost throughput, quality, and adoption.
• Builds business analysis practices for discovery, ROI, and benefits tracking.
• Manages vendor relationships and SOW negotiations.
• Partners on governance for Citizen Development and AI initiatives.
• Identifies opportunities to extend automation into AI-enabled workflows.
• Represents automation initiatives and informs enterprise strategy.
• Acts as liaison between IT and business lines to drive growth and resilience.
