Job summary

Crestron Electronics Inc. seeks a Lead Quality Engineer focused on Audio and DSP testing within the Unified Communications Quality Engineering group.

This player-coach role will own test strategy, drive engineering rigor, and grow a talented team delivering premium audio quality for Crestron UC devices. The role covers validation of DSP-enabled audio, multi-zone audio, and conference room microphone/speaker systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience testing audio products, including DSP, amplifiers, microphones, and audio-over-IP solutions.
Strong ability to evaluate product performance in complex environments with third-party devices, networking, and acoustics.
Deep knowledge of audio quality technologies (AEC, Noise suppression, Beamforming, Multichannel Audio, etc.).
Ability to make sound technical decisions balancing performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the strategic vision for the Audio Quality Engineering team and ensure high-quality products and components.
Assess and optimize product performance, addressing challenges from third-party integrations, networking, and acoustics.
Act as the subject matter expert for audio quality and drive decisions to meet user needs.
Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze data to improve audio product performance across sources.
