Crestron Electronics, Inc. seeks a Lead Quality Engineer focused on Audio and DSP testing within the Unified Communications Quality Engineering group.

This “player-coach” role will own test strategy, guide engineering rigor, and build a team delivering premium audio quality for UC devices. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in audio product testing with professional audio equipment.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality audio products including DSPs, amplifiers, microphones, and Audio over IP.
• Deep knowledge of audio quality technologies (AEC, Noise Suppression, Reverb Removal, Beamforming, Spatial Filtering).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across stakeholders.
• Experience with test automation and driving quality initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute the strategic vision for the Audio Quality Engineering team and ensure high-quality products and components.
• Assess and optimize both objective and subjective product performance across third-party integrations, networking, and acoustics.
• Act as the subject matter expert for audio quality and drive decisions to meet diverse user needs.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on quality goals.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive improvements in audio performance.
• Develop and implement efficient test processes, procedures, and automation for timely, cost-effective releases.
• Coordinate with the security team to meet regulatory requirements for audio and video products.
• Work with Technical Product Support to identify and address use cases for continuous quality.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Development, Production, Marketing, and Quality teams to improve productivity.
