Job summary

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader seeks a Director of Associate Recruitment to lead recruiting strategy across U.S. offices, partnering with firm leadership to attract, recruit, and retain associates and associate-level specialists.

The role oversees law school engagement, lateral hiring, summer programs, and program budgets, reporting to the Global Head of Recruitment and Chief Legal Talent Officer – Americas, with a focus on data-driven outcomes and a premier candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Ten (10)+ years of experience in large law firm legal recruitment or related industry.
• Experience managing a team of at least two direct reports and providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. campus law student recruitment programs and liaise with firm colleagues on multi-office law school programs.
• Direct the implementation of the global lateral associate approval process and ensure effective, standardized processes.
• Direct the development and management of the U.S. recruiting brand, including social media presence and other opportunities to promote the recruiting brand.
• Direct the ongoing development of the National Summer Program for Hogan Lovells Cadwalader, ensuring meaningful experiences across offices.
