Job summary

Vinik Sports Group is seeking an experienced Manager, Event Services to plan and execute events at Benchmark International Arena and the Yuengling Center. You will coordinate with multiple departments to ensure flawless experiences, manage staff performance, and uphold world-class service standards.

The role emphasizes site visits, detailed planning, vendor coordination, CAD work for on-sales/projects, and cross-functional collaboration across sports and entertainment events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Event Management or Hospitality Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in venue events management and coordination, preferably in sports/entertainment.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence others in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build long-term vendor relationships.
• Strong project management, communication, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and coordinate planning and execution of events/shows.
• Collaborate with all departments for day-to-day event coordination and premium events.
• Create and distribute an event details sheet based on advance material.
• Maintain relationships with outside vendors for rentals, stagehands, and support staff.
• Ensure venue is prepared and clean for events, shows, and meetings.
• Advance event information with promoters/production contacts and departments.
