Job summary

Vinik Sports Group seeks a Manager, Event Services to support planning and execution of events at the arena. You will coordinate with all departments, ensure staff deliver world-class service, and manage event details from advance planning to post-event reporting.

You will lead with strong communication, build vendor partnerships, and train new staff for events at Benchmark International Arena and Yuengling Center, while ensuring safety and efficiency in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Event Management or Hospitality Management.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in venue events management and coordination in sports/entertainment.
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills and collaboration.
• Experience influencing teams without direct management authority.
• Excellent rapport-building and relationship skills with vendors.
• Proven project management experience and clear verbal/written communication.
• Strong judgment, proactive decision-making, and deadline discipline.
• Familiarity with CAD, event bookings, and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events with the services team for arena shows and meetings.
• Coordinate day-to-day events across departments; manage details sheets.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships for rentals, stagehands, and more.
• Ensure venue readiness, cleanliness, and accurate event communication.
• Advance event information with promoters and production contacts.
• Prepare scalable maps and liaise with ticketing offices on layouts.
• Coordinate setup needs across hospitality, AV, catering, and logistics.
• Oversee planning, advancing, load-in/out, invoices and post-event reports.
• Assist in training new hires and departmental reporting efforts.
• Contribute to departmental budgeting and special projects as needed.
