Job summary

Storm3 is seeking a Head of Applied AI/Engineering to bridge SOTA research and product development for our Supercomputing Infrastructure initiatives. You will lead a distributed team of engineers and researchers across RL, agentic models, and infra, shaping the R&D stack.

Based in San Francisco or London, you will own the engineering and applied AI function, guide future direction, and receive competitive cash compensation plus founding-level equity. Relocation support is provided.

Qualifications

• Expertise in state-of-the-art model training, especially agentic & eval harnesses or post-training and RL.
• Experience leading RL/agents/evals at frontier model labs.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and infra.

Responsibilities

• Own the bridge between SOTA research and product development.
• Shape technical and strategic direction for R&D across post-training & systems stack.
• Grow and lead a distributed team of engineers and researchers.
