Storm2 is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to build the intelligence layer behind its platform. You will design and deploy production AI applications powered by LLMs, agents, and machine learning models, shaping customer decisions at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping AI, machine learning, or data-driven products
• Strong software engineering skills with Python and/or TypeScript
• Experience developing LLM-powered applications, AI agents, retrieval systems, or similar AI products
• Strong understanding of experimentation, evaluation, monitoring, and production AI systems
• Ability to independently solve complex technical challenges and drive projects from idea to launch
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production AI applications powered by LLMs, agents, and ML models
• Develop intelligent systems for recommendation, retrieval, ranking, and decision automation
• Build document understanding and information extraction workflows using modern AI techniques
• Create agentic workflows that automate complex customer and operational processes
• Develop evaluation frameworks, observability tooling, and experimentation systems to measure model quality and impact
• Own the full AI lifecycle from research to production deployment and optimization
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and customers to identify high-impact AI opportunities
• Stay current on advancements in AI, ML, agents, and LLM tech
