Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience; 8+ with MS; 6+ with PhD.
• Experience in personal care, cosmetics, specialty ingredients or related industries.
• Demonstrated experience in formulation development, technical service, and claims substantiation.
• Leadership experience and collaboration with Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of customer-ready prototype formulations.
• Translate concepts into prototypes, performance demonstrations, and technical materials.
• Develop formulations across personal care categories and validate with sensory and stability testing.
• Provide application support and technical guidance throughout customer development.
• Capture feedback to inform portfolio and future development.
• Coordinate with Regulatory and Product teams to ensure compliant materials.
• Manage multiple application development projects and deliver on time.
• Maintain laboratory safety and data integrity.
