The ideal candidate has extensive experience in application security, cloud security, and security leadership, with a track record of delivering secure architectures

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security roles.
• 5+ years leading Application Security teams.
• Expert understanding of application security principles.
• Proficient with security assessment tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10.
• Nice to have experience with NIST, PCI, or HIPAA.
• Stays updated on threats and innovations in the field.
• Experience with architecture design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Directs and controls activities of a broad functional area across multiple departments.
• Manages planning, staffing, budget attainment, and method changes.
• Leads cross-functional initiatives and collaborates with senior leaders.
• Ensures automation, security, and compliance using industry best practices.
• Oversees budgets, goals, and vendor relationships.
• Hires, develops, and evaluates staff; provides coaching and feedback.
• Aligns security strategy with business objectives and cost optimization.
